Archive360 Delivers Day-One Support For Microsoft Azure Archival Storage Tier
Archive360 announced Archive2Azure's day-one support for Microsoft Azure Cognitive & Media Services and Microsoft's new Azure Archival storage tier. This support will expand Microsoft machine learning capabilities leading to more intelligent and automated audio and video indexing, search, translation and transcription. Archive2Azure Cognitive & Media Services and Archive2Azure support for the Azure Archival storage tier are available now.
Riverbed Previews SteelFusion Azure-Ready Edge
Riverbed Technology previewed its SteelFusion Azure-Ready Edge. This new solution takes the flexibility and benefits of Azure Cloud and extends them all the way to the edge of the network. Riverbed SteelFusion Azure-Ready Edge will allow ROBO to take full advantage of Azure such as using it for a primary storage tier, allowing data to be provisioned, protected and recovered directly from Azure.
Scality Announces GA Of Scality Connect for Microsoft Azure Blob Storage
Scality announced that its Scality Connect for Microsoft Azure Blob Storage is now available. By translating Amazon S3 API calls to Azure Blob Storage API calls, Scality Connect enables any application that works with Amazon S3 to support Microsoft Azure Blob Storage without modification. Connect is implemented as a stateless container within a customer’s Azure subscription.

Cloudian Announces GA Of Cloudian HyperCloud for Microsoft Azure
Cloudian Announced the availability of its HyperCloud for Microsoft Azure. Benefits include:
- Cloud convergence: Users can manage information across multiple clouds using a common S3 API
- Proven compatibility: 100 percent native S3 API implementation eliminates gateways and translation layers, delivering the industry's highest level of S3 application compatibility
- Bi-modal access: Data ingested is stored in native Azure Blob format and is accessible using Azure Blob APIs
- Easy to deploy: The solution is self-contained entirely on the Azure cloud platform; no additional software or hardware is required
- Enterprise scale and performance: Can be deployed on multiple Azure Virtual Machines in parallel for scalable performance
- Secure: The solution includes encryption support for data at rest and in flight and KMS integration
Cohesity Expands Its Integration With Azure
Cohesity has expanded its integration with Microsoft Azure to now enable Cohesity Cloud Edition cluster to be deployed in Azure or Azure Government to back up on-premises applications and send all backup data directly to Azure. The companies state that their customers can see a reduction in time to provision data for other use cases such as test/dev and analytics.
Caringo Announces Swarm Hybrid Cloud For Microsoft Azure
Caringo announced the availability of its Swarm Hybrid Cloud for Microsoft Azure, allowing its customers to replicate files from S3, NFS, and HDFS to Azure in the Azure native Blob format. Similar to the Scality announcement above, Swarm Hybrid Cloud for Microsoft Azure also converts files, though somewhat differently, from an S3 object, Caringo object, Azure Blob or NFS accessible file.
