HPE also announced complimentary HPE GreenLake Cloud services to underrepresented startups.

Announcements focused on unveiling HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Business Edition, OpsRamp moves to the Dashboard, and expanded hybrid cloud services. HPE also announced complimentary HPE GreenLake Cloud services to underrepresented startups.
HPE GreenLake Adds SaaS Offerings
HPE closed on its OpsRamp acquisition, making it available as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering on HPE GreenLake. OpsRamp provides customers with AI-Driven operations for multi-vendor, multi-cloud IT operations. HPE GreenLake customers can leverage OpsRamp for full stack observability and automation of assets and applications across heterogenous, multi-vendor, and multi-cloud environments, driving automation, simplicity, and lowering costs.
OpsRamp enhances the capability of the newly announced sustainability dashboard, available in early access mode on the HPE GreenLake platform. HPE also offers opsRamp services and consulting through HPE Complete Care Sevice and HPE GreenLake Managed Service.
Other HPE GreenLake updates include SaaS offerings for backup and machine learning, adding SaaS offerings on AWS Marketplace, and extending its Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) portfolio.
Expanding AWS Relationship
AWS is reaping the benefit from the success of HPE GreenLake’s unified hybrid cloud as HPE announces expanding its services with AWS to simplify how enterprises develop and manage applications and workloads across HPE GreenLake and AWS.
HPE NonStop Development Environment will be delivered as an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) and HPE Fraud Risk Management as SaaS in AWS Marketplace. Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS) Anywhere will be generally available on HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise, and HPE GreenLake for Backup and Recovery will support Amazon Relational Database Services (Amazon RDS) and Amazon EKS Anywhere.
The new services on supported edge-to-cloud transformation include cloud application migration, cloud economic analysis, DevOps strategies, networking management, and data protection and disaster recovery.
Growing Private Cloud Portfolio, Partner Ecosystem
HPE is expanding its HPE GreenLake private cloud portfolio with enhancements to HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise by addressing edge use cases and providing container support for the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. HPE also unveiled HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Business Edition to let customers spin up virtual machines across hybrid clouds on demand.
The partnership between HPE and VMware remains solid, with HPE announcing HPE GreenLake for VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) pay-per-use solution with pre-configured and tested HPE cloud modules optimized for VCF.
HPE and Equinix are expanding their partnership by offering pre-provisioned HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise and HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Business Edition at Equinix International Business Exchange (IBX) datacenters globally. The expanded service gives customers rapid access to a broad range of private cloud offerings for improved speed, agility, flexibility, and a choice of hybrid cloud strategies.
HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise is API-enabled, providing a simple, automated, flexible, scalable, and enterprise-grade private cloud experience. It’s designed with modular infrastructure and software and supports deployment on bare-metal, VMs, and container workloads in self-service mode. The simple rate-card pricing model provides a straightforward pay-as-you-go consumption model with six workload-optimized instances for general purpose, compute, memory, and storage.
HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Business Edition allows customers to spin up VMs across hybrid clouds on demand and self-manage private clouds from VMs to infrastructure with AIOps-driving simplicity. Customers can store, manage, and protect data across on-premises, edge, and public cloud through an intuitive cloud operational experience for management and seamless integration for data protection.
HPE AI for Large Language Models
The HPE GreenLake portfolio has expanded to offer large language models (LLMs). HPE has unveiled its AI Cloud for LLMs for any enterprise, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, to access on-demand in a multi-tenant supercomputing cloud service. Enterprises can privately train, tune, and deploy large-scale AI using a sustainable supercomputing platform that combines HPE’s AI software and supercomputers.
HPE GreenLake for LLMs will be delivered in partnership with German start-up Aleph Alpha to provide users with field-proven and ready-to-use LLM to power use cases requiring text and image processing and analysis. According to HPE, this is just the first in a series of AI applications it plans to launch.
HPE Diversity Startup Program
To provide equitable access to the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform for women- and minority-owned startups, HPE has announced the HPE Diversity Startup Program. Developed in collaboration with HPE Partner Ready service provider Alpha3 Cloud, the program provides complimentary cloud service vouchers through service provider partners to allow startups to consume HPE GreenLake services to deliver digital solutions to customers more economically and effectively using the vouchers.
Alpha3 Cloud has data centers in the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern Virginia and offers cloud services by HPE GreenLake to startups with month-to-month consumption models and no vendor lock-in.
