On the same day, July 12th, Intel announced their new 6-coreXeon E-2100 processor, Supermicro launched their product lineup optimized for it.  In addition to their newest 1U IoT System and workstation, Supermicro also offers 4 new motherboards. With these releases the company shows that it is responding to the growing customers needs of IoT systems.

Supermicro's newest IoT system is the 1019C-HTN2; a well fleshed out offering that supports up to three independent displays and is well suited for digital signage, DVR/NVR, POS, office server and network security applications. With a depth of 11.3 inches, this 1U system is powered by Supermicro's X11SCZ-F micro-ATX motherboard and supports two hot-swap and two internal 2.5-inch hard drive bays, up to 64GB of 2666 MHz DDR4 memory, two GbE LAN ports, four USB 3.1 devices, a PCI-E 3.0 x16 slot, M.2 slot, and a dedicated IPMI 2.0 remote management port. Support for socket-based processors like Intel’s brand new Xeon E-2100, makes it easy for customers to select a CPU based on their specific requirements, while the single PCI-E x16 slot empowers customers to further expand the feature set.

Supermicro's brand new 5039C-T workstation is an entry-level offering primarily targeted at CAD, digital imaging, and 3D Simulation work when paired with NVIDIA Quadro Professional GPUs. Optimized for Intel's latest Xeon E processors the 5039C-T workstation supports up to 64GB of DDR4-2666 memory, fast M.2, U.2 SSD storage, dual GbE LAN ports, and USB 3.1 Gen 2. Both the GPU & CPU must be purchased separately making this less of a turnkey solution but allowing customers to tailor their purchases to best fit their business needs. Supermicro's brand new 5039C-T workstation is based on their equally new X11SCA motherboard.

Supermicro's new X11SCA workstation motherboard comes in a standard ATX form factor packed with features and expandability options including 4k video support. Optimized for the latest Xeon E processors, this platform supports up to 64GB of either ECC or non-ECC DDR4-2666 memory, triple displays with DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0, DVI-D; dual M.2, U.2, dual GbE LAN ports, and USB 3.1 Gen 2. In addition, there is a front panel USB-C header on the X11SCA motherboard with different versions to add either gigabit wireless 802.11ac with Bluetooth 5.0 (X11SCA-W) or Supermicro IPMI 2.0 with an additional VGA port (X11SCA-F).  Supermicro also offers three other variations on this board, including a micro ATX form factor in the X11SCZ-F.  Full technical specs for all are available through the link at the bottom of the article.
