VIA today introduced its M’SERV S2100 home mini server. It features a VIA Nano 64-bit processor, dual gigabit LAN ports, two onboard RAM slots, a Compact Flash slot, and a low-noise 8cm fan.


 
VIA today introduced its M’SERV S2100 home mini server. It features a VIA Nano 64-bit processor, dual gigabit LAN ports, two onboard RAM slots, a Compact Flash slot, and a low-noise 8cm fan.
 
It supports two 3.5-inch SATA II hard drives. The Nano processor runs at 1.3GHz and supports virtualization. Operating system support consists of Windows XP/Vista/7, Server 2008 R2, Linux, and FreeBSD. The M’SERV S2100 has a small form factor, measuring 10.2” x 5.3” x 4.5”.
