Buffalo Technology has announced the latest addition to its product lineup, the TeraStation ES high performance NAS. The device is a RAID-based solution designed for small businesses. Features of the drive include Active Directory integration, real-time share replication, and hot swap and hot spare drives. Additional features include 128-bit AES encryption, an oversized cooling system, and a heavy duty power supply. It has protocol support for SMB/CIFs, NFS, FTP/SFTP, AFP, and AppleTalk.
The TeraStation ES comes with a web-based GUI to assist in setup of the device’s various features. It comes with a three-year limited warranty and 24/7 tech support. Estimiated pricing is as follows:
