QNAP Systems has added to its Turbo NAS line with two new NAS servers targeted to SMB and corporate users. The TS-239 Pro II (2 drive model) and TS-439 Pro II (4 drive model) feature the Intel Atom D410 CPU and support for up to 8TB of storage.
QNAP Systems has added to its Turbo NAS line with two new NAS servers targeted to SMB and corporate users. The TS-239 Pro II (2 drive model) and TS-439 Pro II (4 drive model) feature the Intel Atom D410 CPU and support for up to 8TB of storage.
Both servers are compatible with VMware’s vSphere4 (ESX 4.0) virtualization platform. They also ship with QNAP’s latest NAS management software (v3.2) which supports iSCSI, SPC-3 Persistent Reservation for clustering in VMware and Windows Server 2008, MPIO and MC/S, DFS, import of user-list, customizable Daylight Saving Time for easier administration, and IPv6.
Other highlights include a new interface for file sharing a management, online collaboration tools and support for Apple Time Machine.
Availability
The new TS-239 Pro II and TS-439 Pro II Turbo NAS servers are currently available without disks for $549 and $849 respectively.
