The Defender Basic has the following:
- 256-bit AES Hardware Based Encryption
- Limited Password Attempts
- Free 1 Year Anti-Virus/Malware Protection
- No Administrative Rights Required for Use
- On-Chip Password Matching
The Defender Basic does not have advanced features such as FIPS 140-2 certification like the company’s top-end Defender Elite Models, but it’s more affordable for consumers.
The Kanguru Defender Basic is available now in capacities ranging from 2GB to 128GB; prices start at MSRP $29.95.
