QNAP has added to their Turbo NAS lineup with the rack-mounted TS-419U+. The unit features four hot-swappable SATA hard drive bays in a 1U form factor, a Marvell 1.6GHz CPU and 512MB of DDRIII memory.
QNAP has added to their Turbo NAS lineup with the rack-mounted TS-419U+. The unit features four hot-swappable SATA hard drive bays in a 1U form factor, a Marvell 1.6GHz CPU and 512MB of DDRIII memory.
The TS-419U+ can be configured for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 5+ hot spare, or JBOD with online RAID capacity expansion and online RAID level migration. Other highlights include support for iSCSI target service with Thin Provisioning, dual Gigabit LAN ports with failover and load-balancing, and Wake on LAN. The unit also includes four USB (three on the back, one front) ports and two eSATA ports. The front USB is interesting in that with the press of a button on the front of the TS-419U+, it will import all on the contents on the USB drive onto the NAS.
