Western Digital has announced their second-generation WD S25 SAS drives and the latest WD RE SAS enterprise hard drives. The WD S25 is a 2.5" drive featuring 10,000RPM spin speed, SAS 6Gb/s interface and comes in 450GB (WD4500BKHG) and 600GB (WD6000BKHG) capacities. The WD RE SAS offers a 3.5" form factor with 7,200RPM spin speed, SAS 6Gb/s interface and capacities of 1TB (WD1000FYYG) and 2TB (WD2000FYYG).
