Patriot Announces Torqx 2 SSD

by StorageReview Consumer Desk

Patriot has announced the new Torqx 2 series of SSDs, with capacities ranging from 32GB up to 256GB. With most SSDs currently on the market using JMicron, SandForce or other controllers, Patriot has opted for a model from Phison, which hasn’t seen much consumer SSD activity in the past year. With retail prices being listed as $229 for the 128GB version, these SATA 3Gb/s SSDs are competing with many of the upcoming performance models.
