Intel of course is powering the unit with Xeon processors, but they’re also promoting several other security and optimization technologies like Intel AES New Instructions for more efficient encryption, Intelligent Power Node Manager to better control power needs for increased server density and Intel’s Virtualization Technology.
This suitcase-ready miniature cloud computer is part of Intel’s Cloud 2015 vision.
