Citrix is now able to offer a full line of virtualization and networking solutions built for the cloud. The Cloud.com product lineup will continue its support of Citrix XenServer and VMWare vSphere in addition to open-source providers like Xen. The company stated it will add support for Microsoft Hyper-V and System Center moving forward. One of Citrix’s goals, it said in a conference call, is to provide practical alternatives to VMWare’s proprietary vSphere and vCloud products.
