Kingston has updated their iOS application for their Wi-Drive portable WiFi storage device. Along with minor bug fixes, the app has new functionality highlighted by the ability to wirelessly transfer files from the Wi-Drive to the Wi-Drive app local area.
Kingston has updated their iOS application for their Wi-Drive portable WiFi storage device. Along with minor bug fixes, the app has new functionality highlighted by the ability to wirelessly transfer files from the Wi-Drive to the Wi-Drive app local area.
Other improvements include:
- Recognition of Apple device “Open In” option: When working with documents, Wi-Drive presents the “Open In” option so the user can select which App to use to open and copy a file to
- Addition of file select and email sending function: User can select and send music, photo, video or document files (up to 10MB size) as email attachments
Kingston’s updated app may be found at the App Store. An Android application is scheduled for November.
