ADATA has certified the drive with Gigabyte motherboards that support storage via mSATA slot (Z68XP-UD3, Z68XP-D3, Z68AP-D3 and Z68P-DS3 models) making the XM13 a valuable companion with Intel’s Smart Response Technology, which leverages the mSATA SSD for rapid boot. When compared to the Intel SSD 310 mSATA offering, the XM13 quotes to line read speeds that are nearly 50% faster. The ADATA XM13 will also find its way into tablet computers and several other small form factor devices that can benefit from the high speeds and small footprint mSATA SSDs offer.
