Today OCZ announced the new Indilinx Everest 2 platform, which is the SATA 3.0-based third generation Indilinx controller offering incompressible write speeds up to 550MB/s and random I/O performance of 105,000 random read and 90,000 random write. This new platform is designed to work with 2xnm flash and with the platform becoming available in June, it will likely be used for the possible Octane 2.
