JetStor’s management software simplifies deployment and administration of hybrid Fibre Channel and iSCSI storage with a single unified view. This allows for dynamic provisioning to each application appropriate to its connectivity requirements. Additionally, administrators can implement comprehensive volume-level data protection for both Fibre Channel and iSCSI SANs via writeable snapshots, Windows VSS support, JetStor Replica remote replication, and volume cloning.
The JetStor 724iF Hybrid RAID system can support up to 72TB in 4U with 24 dual-ported SAS, SATA, or SSD bays and its dual-path 6Gb/s SAS expansion ports enable an increase of up to 216TB in plug-and-play storage. In addition, its OOB staggered drive spin-up, auto disk spin-down, intelligent fan and thermal management, and 80 PLUS energy-efficient power supplies make it environmentally friendly.
The JetStor 724iF uses Xeon 64-bit processors, parity-assist ASICs, iSCSI-assist and TCP offload engines, and four to eight GB of cache, for maximum bandwidth to four 8Gb/s Fibre Channel and two 1Gb/s iSCSI ports per redundant controller.
