Users can also expand storage capacity as needed by connecting TL and TR storage expansion enclosures.
The TS-x53DU series is equipped with Intel Celeron J4125 quad-core 2.0 GHz processors (burst up to 2.7 GHz), supports up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and comes with a PCIe 2.0 slot, the latter which allows users to install compatible network or storage PCIe card for 10GbE connectivity and SSD caching, respectively. In addition, the TS-x53DU series can be paired with other QNAP solutions including managed/unmanaged switches and network adapters.
With Hyper Data Protector, users can backup unlimited VMware and Hyper-V environments while HybridMount and VJBOD Cloud provide cloud storage that integrates private and public cloud storage and enable local caching. Hybrid Backup Sync enables local, remote, and cloud backup jobs with QuDedup technology, which deduplicates backup files at the source. Moreover, the Notification Center combines all the events on a QNAP NAS into a single-app solution while the Security Counselor scans for malware and recommends security settings.
The QNAP TS-x53DU also has the built-in QTS App Center at its disposal, which gives users more flexibility via apps and allows them to do things like host multiple virtual machines and containers, implement a professional video surveillance system, centrally manage multiple email accounts, and automatic file organization.
