Our full review of the Micron P320h as both a single drive and with two in RAID0 will be forthcoming later this week after many weeks of immersive testing. To whet the appetite a bit, we’ve created a short video highlighting the performance of the drives in our high-performance interconnect testing platform which is centered around Mellanox 56Gb/s InfiniBand switching, a Supermicro server and a pair of HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8‘s. We’re able to drive over 400,000 IOPS in this configuration with an 8K 70/30 workload, stressing the CPU with 80-85% utilization. This platform is designed specifically for showing fast storage and fast interconnects which really puts the pressure back on Intel to keep crafting faster processors.

The testing platform we show below in our Micron RealSSD P320h Preview Video consists of the following:
- Windows Server 2012 OS
- StarTech 15U Rack
- (2) SMB 3.0 Shares over Mellanox RDMA
- (2) HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8 Servers
- Super Micro Computer Server with a X9DRX+-F motherboard and dual Intel Xeon E5-2670 CPUs
- Mellanox SX6036 56Gb/s InfiniBand Switch
- (4) Mellanox ConnectX-3 56Gb/s VPI Adapters
