Synology DiskStation Manager 4.3 (DSM) Beta Completed

Synology is announcing that the company has finalized DiskStation Manager (DSM) 4.3 as the latest official release of its network attached storage (NAS) operating system software after completing a public beta period. DSM 4.3 updates the previous release, DSM 4.2, with new features for businesses, prosumers, and enthusiasts, including link aggregation for high availability (HA), TRIM support, ADS Trusted Domain support, and enhanced SSD read caching on some NAS models. According to Synology, its Cloud Station private cloud functionality also syncs up to 30% faster with the DSM 4.3 update.

DSM 4.3 updates the previous release, DSM 4.2, with new features for businesses, prosumers, and enthusiasts, including link aggregation for high availability (HA), TRIM support, ADS Trusted Domain support, and enhanced SSD read caching on some NAS models. According to Synology, its Cloud Station private cloud functionality also syncs up to 30% faster with the DSM 4.3 update.

Linux users running the latest DiskStation Manager are now supported with a Cloud Station desktop client, and mobile users will have access to updated mobile apps. Cloud Station has also added selective sync, which allows users to select which file types and files, as granular as individual documents, get synced to their local machine from the remote NAS. DS Cloud users have will see improvements to Photo Station global search, the ability to share folder and file links, and new Disk Usage Reports which can help find and eliminate duplicate files.
