Part of the Virtual Instrument’s Infrastructure Management platform VirtualWisdom, ProbeFC8-HD48 is one of three offerings that scale from large enterprises to medium and smaller businesses. The ProbeFC8 monitors 8 ports for entry level and ProbeFC8-HD has 16 ports for medium size and the 48 port ProbeFC8-HD48 is for the larger infrastructures. Being able to monitor the physical SAN and analyzing traffic at the protocol level allows the monitoring of every exchange and also measure the impact of the SAN on application response times.
