The HP mt245 is equipped with familiar Windows Embedded Standard 7E tools, programs, and resources, all of which are displayed on a 14-inch diagonal HD screen. In addition, mobile data defense is built in, helping to prevent exposure to unwarranted outlets, while the Windows with Write Filter protects against unauthorized updates and viruses.
The HP Device Manager allows for easy deployment, management, and maintenance of the thin client installed base both on-site and remotely. Additionally, the HP Velocity software helps to improve wired and Wi-Fi network performance and end user experience by optimizing network traffic for remote desktops and streaming of remote applications. With an intuitive interface and targeted protection tools, HP Easy Shell allows businesses to customize and simplify their cloud computing experience with Windows Embedded. HP mt245 also comes with HP Easy Shell v3.1 preinstalled on the mobile device, which features new system notifications and displays that simplify IT trouble-shooting and user experience.
Using Internet Explorer 11, the HP mt245 is VDI-optimized and cloud-ready to adapt easily into any ecosystem with the current top ISV partners. In addition, the virtualization experience includes full enterprise receiver support, single sign-on support, multimedia redirection, and readily-available drivers and ports to print, scan and connect.
