QNAP Systems has announced the immediate availability of the QVP-41B, the company’s newest NVR network surveillance server designed to meet the high-speed networking needs of small/medium-sized monitoring environments. Featuring sixteen 30-watt Gigabit PoE ports, two RJ45/SFP combo ports, and two 2.5GbE host management ports, the QNAP QVP-41B supports a range of different PoE devices. The new QNAP NVR surveillance server is powered by an Intel Celeron J4125 quad-core processor and is equipped with four 3.5-inch SATA drive bays.

Featuring sixteen 30-watt Gigabit PoE ports, two RJ45/SFP combo ports, and two 2.5GbE host management ports, the QNAP QVP-41B supports a range of different PoE devices. The new QNAP NVR surveillance server is powered by an Intel Celeron J4125 quad-core processor and is equipped with four 3.5-inch SATA drive bays.
The QVP-41B supports a total of 140 watts, which meets power requirements of bullet cameras, fisheye cameras, 4K PTZ cameras, and Speed Dome cameras compliant with the ONVIF standard as well as high-power devices like 4K PTZ cameras, IP phones, LED lights, and digital signage. In addition, the QNAP surveillance device supports intelligent PoE management functions, such as scheduling, power supply prioritization, and power enabling/disabling. This gives users the ability to centrally manage all devices.
The QVP-41B uses the company’s QVR Pro surveillance software and supports other surveillance applications as well:
- QVP Center centrally manages and monitors multiple QVR Pro servers and receives event notifications
- QVR Smart Search finds event recordings within a specified time and area
- QVR Pro Client monitors different platforms and flexibly switches between live view and playback mode to take full control over monitored areas
The QVP-41B features a modern, all-black design with an LCD panel, USB port, and several status LEDs on the front panel to let the user know what’s going on with the QNAP surveillance server. It also has a quiet cooling system with HDMI 2.0 output for direct playback of live feeds up to a 4K (3840×2160) resolution at 60Hz.
