The new Acer Veriton N Series will provide an entry into the thin client market for Acer, with three product lines for a range of applications. In partnership with Devon IT, Acer’s Veriton N thin clients leverage the Echo Thin Client Management software and either DeTOS 7.1, Windows Embedded Standard 7, or Windows 8/Windows 7.
The new Acer Veriton N Series will provide an entry into the thin client market for Acer, with three product lines for a range of applications. In partnership with Devon IT, Acer’s Veriton N thin clients leverage the Echo Thin Client Management software and either DeTOS 7.1, Windows Embedded Standard 7, or Windows 8/Windows 7.
Veriton N thin clients are Energy Star 5.2 qualified and EPEAT Gold compliant. They will offer optional integrated WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless connectivity.
Veriton N2110G
The Veriton N2110G is the highest performing model in Acer’s new thin client line, featuring a dual core AMD G-T56N processor, 2GB memory, and AMD Radeon HD 6320 graphics. The N2110G is fanless, with no moving parts. These systems support dual DisplayPorts with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600. VGA and DVI adapters are also available.
The N2110G Series provides four USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0, and measure 9.9 x 8.3 x 1.6 inches. It can be placed flat, stood vertically, or attached to the back of a monitor. This series comes with a choice of DeTOS 7.1 or Windows Embedded Standard 7.
Veriton N2620G
The N2620G Series provides DVI-I plus HDMI dual output. The highest-performing N2620G configurations ship with a second-generation Intel Celeron 887 processor with Intel HD graphics and 4GB of DDR3 1333 MHz SDRAM. The N2620G is TPM 1.2 compliant and offers two mini PCI Express 2.0 slots. Like the N2110G, it can be attached to the back of a monitor, laid flat, or stood vertically. Acer offers this series with DeTOS 7.1, Windows Embedded Standard 7, or Windows 7/8.
Veriton N2010G
The Acer Veriton N2010G Series measures a compact 6.9 x 4.8 x 1.4 inches and offers dual DVI output at 1920 x 1200 resolution, with VGA adapters optional. The N2010G is powered by a Texas Instruments DM8148 ARM processor, a PowerVR SGX530 graphics accelerator, and HD video accelerator and is fanless, with no moving parts. It ships with DeTOS 7.1. The N2010G features four USB 2.0 ports.
Availability
The Acer Veriton N2110G and Veriton N2620G Series will be available through resellers in October 2012. The Veriton N2010G Series will be available in December 2012. Pricing for Veriton N Series thin clients will begin at $239.
