Looking for more speed out of your flash drives? Active Media has just announced their 16GB and 32GB eSATA flash drives that give your portable media a little extra kick. For the times you can’t get an eSATA connection, there’s also a Mini USB 2,0 port on the other side. Users can expect to see 100MB/s read and 55MB/s write speeds.

eSATA Flash Drive

The only down side is that when used in an eSATA port, the Mini USB port also needs to be connected for power. Even so, for many people that’s a small price to pay for the increased performance.

Both drives are available now. The 16GB (P16G-ESATA) model is $69.95 and the 32GB (P32G-ESATA) $109.95.
