For the times you can’t get an eSATA connection, there’s also a Mini USB 2,0 port on the other side. Users can expect to see 100MB/s read and 55MB/s write speeds.

The only down side is that when used in an eSATA port, the Mini USB port also needs to be connected for power. Even so, for many people that’s a small price to pay for the increased performance.

Both drives are available now. The 16GB (P16G-ESATA) model is $69.95 and the 32GB (P32G-ESATA) $109.95.
