Active Media Products today launched its new Aviator-2 SuperSpeed USB 3.0 external 2.5-inch enclosure. It is available as an enclosure only or with an optional 64GB or 128GB Predator X7 SSD installed. Data transfer rates with the SSD installed through USB 3.0 are up to 200MB/s. The Aviator-2 is backwards compatible with USB 1.1/2.0.
The Aviator-2 enclosure only (P/N: NCASE-A2) has an MSRP of $34.95; the 64GB SSD model (N64G-A2) is $259.95, and the 128GB model (N128G-A2) is $449.95. Active Media Products are available at Amazon.com and other distributors.
