Aleratec has announced a low-cost hard drive duplicator, the 1:1 Hard Disk Drive Copy Cruiser Mini. In stand alone mode the system can duplicate either 2.5″ or 3.5″ SATA I/II drives creating perfect clones. The Cruiser Mini can also run in docking station mode over USB 2.0, creating an external storage device.

The 1.2 pound Cruiser Mini is single-button press easy to operate as well. Users insert a source and target drive, then press a button on the top of the unit to start the cloning process. The copy runs at approximately 72 MB/s and includes partition and boot sector information.
