Downtime is something most in IT wish to avoid but know that it can happen even with the best measures in place to attempt to prevent it. According to two new reports, IT downtime can cost enterprises up to $700 billion per year, with an average downtime costing enterprises $8,662 per minute. Looking at these numbers will motivate companies to invest in areas that minimize downtime. Barracuda is looking to qualm these concerns with the latest version of its LiveBoot.

Cloud LiveBoot works for both VMware and Hyper-V environments and does similar to LiveBoot, only booting VMs directly from backups in Barracuda Cloud.
