Corsair has announced their latest generation rugged USB flash drive, the Flash Survivor GTR. The flash drive unscrews from an aircraft-grade aluminum case which includes a waterproof seal, making the drive water-resistant up to 200 meters. The Survivor GTR comes in 32GB and 64GB capacities.

If being able to take your data 650 feet under water isn’t good enough, the Survivor GTR also features a dampening collar to protect the drive from vibration and impact damage. If however, the drive does find a way to fail, it’s protected with a 10-year warranty.
The GTR uses a USB 2.0 interface, delivering speeds of 34MBs/read and 28MBs/write.
Availability
The Corsair Survivor GTR comes in two capacities, 32GB (CMFSRA32GBGT2) and 64GB (CMFSRA64GBGT2). The drives are expected to start shipping in the next few weeks, though pricing has not yet been announced.
