DataDirect Network's GS7K is a massively scalable parallel file system with enterprise grade data management and protection in an all-in-one appliance.
The GS7K combines DDN's Storage Fusion Architecture with the performance and scalability of IBM's GPFS file system giving customers the best of both worlds: massive performance and scalability with simplicity and rich features such as migration between SSD, SAS, SATA tiers, Cloud and tape under one global namespace, and federation of GS7K namespaces for multi-site ingest, distribution and collaboration across multiple GS7K clusters.
Customers can start small, 60 drives in a 4U rack space with 6GB/s and add up to 4 more blocks giving them up to 396 drives in a 20U rack space with 12GB/s per scale-out chassis.
