At CES 2025, Dell announced a rebrand of its professional PCs, including the Dell Pro and Pro Max, with base, Plus, and Premium tiers.
Dell has completely redesigned its business laptops and rebranded the entire lineup. The Latitude line has been replaced with Pro, with base, Plus, and Premium tiers. The Precision line has also been replaced with the new Pro Max line, which affects laptops and desktops. Another large shift is that commercial buyers will start to see AMD Ryzen AI Pro CPU options in Dell Pro systems.
The new Dell Pro lineup marks a significant milestone in commercial computing by integrating AMD’s latest Ryzen AI PRO processors. These processors, part of the Ryzen AI 300 Series, are designed to meet the growing demand for AI-enabled workflows, offering up to 8 Zen 5 CPU cores, RDNA 3.5 graphics, and an industry-leading NPU powered by AMD XDNA 2 technology. With up to 50 TOPS of AI performance, these processors deliver five times the AI power of their predecessors, enabling advanced features like live captioning, language translation, and AI-driven image generation. This makes them ideal for the next generation of Microsoft Copilot+ experiences and other AI-intensive tasks.
The Ryzen AI PRO processors also bring AMD PRO Technologies to the forefront, offering enterprise-grade security and manageability features. These capabilities ensure that IT operations are streamlined while providing exceptional ROI for businesses. The processors’ built-in CPU, GPU, and NPU work together to deliver outstanding battery life, increased productivity, and powerful on-device AI, making them a perfect fit for Dell’s redefined Pro portfolio. Whether in the office or on the go, these systems are designed to support the shift to an AI-enabled workforce.
