Dell PowerMax updated with increased efficiency, improved cyber resiliency, and multicloud mobility to help customers with optimized performance and greater data protection.

Dell has introduced new enhancements to the Dell PowerMax portfolio, increasing efficiency, cyber resiliency, and seamless multicloud mobility. These updates will help customers stay ahead of business demands while optimizing performance and improving data protection.

Dell’s latest release leverages artificial intelligence to optimize performance, reduce management overhead, and prevent incidents before they occur. These enhancements include performance optimization through AI-powered dynamic cache optimization, predictive management with autonomous health checks, and proactive issue resolution.

The new PowerMax release also introduces automated network fabric performance optimization to identify and address network congestion issues quickly, significantly improving incident resolution. The infrastructure optimization feature enables quick, efficient adjustments through Dell’s AIOps Assistant, allowing for easy system configuration through natural language queries.

The PowerMax release also improves storage efficiency with a 92% RAID efficiency (RAID 6 24+2) and delivers power and environmental monitoring capabilities. Dell PowerMax includes new cybersecurity features to protect customer data, reduce vulnerabilities, and ensure rapid recovery from cyberattacks. The latest Cyber Recovery Services for PowerMax and YubiKey multifactor authentication strengthen data protection while providing customers with compliance assurance.

Superior Performance at Scale

PowerMax is a leader in performance scalability, offering significant boosts in IOPS and network connectivity. The latest update delivers up to a 30% increase in IOPS performance and faster Ethernet and Fibre Channel connectivity. Storage Direct Protection for PowerMax also integrates with PowerProtect, allowing for efficient and secure backups and restores.

Achieve Multicloud Agility

In today’s digital landscape, multicloud agility is critical for maximizing resources and adapting to change. Dell’s new enhancements provide seamless data mobility between PowerMax workloads and APEX Block Storage, and scalable cloud backup and restore capabilities. The simplified consumption model via Dell APEX Subscriptions further ensures flexible and cost-effective scaling options.

Dell PowerMaxOS 10.2 brings performance improvements to mainframe environments, offering faster IOPS and reduced latency for unbalanced workloads.
