Offered in capacities ranging from 16GB to 128GB, with 256GB and 512GB version in the works, the S5-series SSD is made to handle any environment. With MILSPEC ratings in vibration, shock, thermal shock, drop, and altitude, this SSD can work in pretty much any condition.

The main feature that sets this drive apart from the rest is its ability to initiate an internal wiping command at the push of a button or via ATA command. Using service pins located on the front of the drive near the SATA power and data interface, users can connect a jumper (or case button) that triggers the correct pins to start the wiping process. Once the command has been initiated, pulling the power cable won’t help… each time the drive is plugged back in the wipe feature resumes until it has been completed.
