Portworx Enterprise Now Runs on GKE
Portworx announced that Portworx Enterprise is now available to run on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and GKE On-Prem. This will enable mission critical data-rich workloads like databases to run on Google Cloud Services Platform. Portworx for GKE and GKE On-Prem allows for better Kubernetes cluster adoption by solving the issues of high availability, disaster recovery, and data security for hybrid- and multi-cloud applications.
NVIDIA Quadro Virtual Workstation Comes to GCP
NVIDIA announced that its Quadro Virtual Workstation (QvWS) is now available on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This makes Google Cloud to be the first cloud provider to offer NVIDIA T4 GPUs and RTX technology for virtual workstations. NVIDIA was also named by Google as the partner of the year for Media and entertainment.
Hammerspace DaaS Now Available On Google Marketplace
Hamerspace announced that its Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) platform is now available on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Marketplace. Now GCP customers can use Hammerspace’s DaaS to help mange and protect their data across hybrid cloud with global enterprise file data services.
Lenovo & Google Partner On Consistent Hybrid Kubernetes
Building off of the Google’s Anthos, Lenovo has validated the reference design to run on its ThinkAgile Platform. This means their customers can get a consistent Kubernetes experience between Google Cloud and their on-premises environments. Customers get access to the entire cloud-native ecosystem of services: databases, analytics, DevOps, security, and more, This includes the ability to spin up development, test and production environments with cloud-like agility anywhere.
HYCU Expands Backup as a Service to Protect Data in GCP
HYCU expanded its support for Google Cloud Services, specifically Google Cloud SQL. Benefits include:

- One click data protection for Cloud SQL instances
- Granular recovery of databases
- Automation for one-click, development and test copy management
