The modern workforce is looking much different than in the past. While there are still offices that people “punch in” and work at, it is not abnormal to take your laptop home and continue to work. There are segments of workers that may work in multiple different locations. All the while, these workers are collaborating with others throughout the day. HP is introducing new products to not only power the workers needs but to keep them secure at the same time.
As malware continues to change and adapt, HP is rolling out its new HP Sure Sense that leverages deep learning AI to detect the rapidly changing threats. HP Sure Sense is said to be able to provide real-time detection and prevention of zero-day threats coupled with behavioral detection of ransomware activity, all with minimal impact to system performance. HP Sure Sense will be available on all of the following computers.
HP is also rolling out new EliteBooks with the 800 G6 Series, featuring 8th Gen Intel Core vPro processors and the new HP EliteBook x360 G6. The 800 series comes with outdoor viewable touch displays, 18 hours of battery life, up to a gigabit of 4G LTE, and HP Extended Range Wireless LAN technology that enables up to two times improvement in range on the HP EliteBook 830 G6 over the prior generation.
For power users, HP has released new ZBook 14u and 15u mobile workstations. For the 14u, HP has given the new version 50% more graphics power, a 4K UHD display with 100% AdobeRGB, and it now leverages 8th Gent Intel Core vPro Processors. Also leveraging the same CPUs, the new 15u also comes with 50% more graphics power and comes with more performance and multi-tasking within applications.
HP announced a new monitor with the HP EliteDisplay E324q. This display is 31.5-inches diagonal and has QHD resolution. The monitor comes with several connectivity options including HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C.
