VMware vSphere users can now leverage HP Data Protector 7 to deduplicate data at the application source, backup server, or target appliance and to centrally manage deduplicated data movement across the enterprise for disaster recovery.
HP Data Protector provides policy-based data protection that allows organizations to control how often they back up their data as well as how much data to retain. The solution is also designed to support multitenant cloud environments that require flexible protection office for SLA and other compliance requirements.
