HP has announced a new class of thin clients and an update to their HP ThinPro OS designed to help facilitate the adoption of the next generation of virtualized computing and cloud-first application across industries. The new HP thin clients include the HP t430 and HP mt44, featuring a modern design, robust security, ease of management improvements and competitive pricing.

The new HP thin clients include the HP t430 and HP mt44, featuring a modern design, robust security, ease of management improvements and competitive pricing.
The modern-looking HP t430 Thin Client is designed for the deployment of both virtualized desktop applications or cloud-first end-user computing use cases. It uses a single cable USB-C to power itself while simultaneously providing audio, video, and data. The t430 has also been completely redesigned and features a built-in VESA mount for easy mounting on a display, under a desk or in a kiosk. It also is powered by a new generation Intel Celeron processor with clock speeds up to 2.6 GHz, equipped with DDR4 memory, supports dual UHD 4K displays, and features solid-state storage.

The HP mt44 Mobile Thin Client is touted as a balance of form and function, improving its design, collaboration, and security compared to the previous generation. At less than 18 mm in thickness and just over 3 lbs, the mt44 features the world-facing third microphone, HP Noise Cancellation, collaboration keys and loud speakers, all things designed specifically to improve collaboration productivity use cases for thin client specific mobile deployments. The mt44 comes equipped with a new generation AMD Ryzen 3 PRO processor with Radeon Vega graphics, making it ideal for multi-tasking, streaming content and complex computational demands. Price and Availability
The HP t430 Thin Client and HP mt44 Mobile Thin Client is slated for worldwide release in early May 2018 priced at $249 and $849, respectively. Moreover, the HP ThinPro 7 OS will be available in July 2018.
