As with all HPE Storage products, the HPE Alletra 5000 includes HPE InfoSight, a powerful, advanced AIOps for infrastructure that eliminates app disruptions, ensuring applications are always on. The HPE Alletra 5000’s architecture delivers both flash speed and disk economics while enabling consistent performance and data efficiency.
The HPE Alletra is a 4U chassis and can hold up to 21 HDDs and six small form factor SSDs for flash cache purposes. It supports up to six expansion shelves each supporting up to 21 HDDs and three or six Flash Cache SSDs. Supported drive capacities are 2, 4, 6, 10, and 14TB, with dual controllers and Fibre Channel and iSCSI host connectivity options. The Alletra 5000 supports Triple+ Parity RAID as standard.
