Icy Dock recently announced the new all-in-one MB881U3 docking station featuring connectors for IDE and SATA drives connected through a fast USB 3.0 interface. The SATA and IDE hard drive adapter supports both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch IDE hard drives, as well as 2.5 and 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and SSDs. The transforming dock can be reconfigured in multiple shapes to handle pretty much any drive currently being sold on the market. The big update for this model though is the addition of USB 3.0, which offers much greater speeds than USB 2.0, but still retains backwards compatibility.

For older legacy 2.5 and 3.5-inch IDE hard drives, the dock includes connectors located on the side to attach supported models. Power for 3.5-inch drives is provided through an external molex connector, which is shown below.
