Infinidat has announced the launch of its InfiniBox G4 family, featuring next-generation storage arrays for both all-flash and hybrid configurations. Alongside these new arrays, Infinidat has introduced significant enhancements to its InfiniVerse infrastructure consumption services platform, advancing its Storage-as-a-Service (STaaS) offerings, hybrid multi-cloud support, and cybersecurity capabilities.

The new InfiniBox G4 storage arrays provide significant performance improvements, with speeds up to twice as fast as previous models, including the InfiniBox SSA II solutions. The launch also introduces InfiniVerse Mobius, a new lifecycle management controller upgrade option. This allows customers to extend the life of their storage systems by upgrading controllers, ensuring that the system remains up-to-date and performs optimally throughout its lifecycle.

InfuzeOS Cloud Edition now includes support for Microsoft Azure in addition to existing AWS support. This enhancement facilitates seamless integration and operation within hybrid multi-cloud environments, enabling customers to leverage the strengths of both on-premises and cloud storage.

Infinidat has made significant updates to its InfiniSafe® solution, enhancing enterprise cyber storage resilience and recovery. New features include Automated Cyber Protection (ACP), which integrates with Security Operations Centers (SOC) and other cybersecurity systems to provide immediate, automated, immutable snapshots of data in response to security incidents. Additionally, InfiniSafe Cyber Detection capabilities have been expanded for VMware environments, allowing for advanced threat detection and mitigation.

Phil Bullinger, CEO of Infinidat, emphasized the importance of these advancements in continuing to deliver exceptional storage solutions and customer experiences. He highlighted that the launch of the InfiniBox G4 systems and enhancements to the InfiniVerse platform is a culmination of significant product development and collaboration with partners and customers. These innovations reflect Infinidat’s ongoing commitment to providing unparalleled storage solutions to enterprises globally.

Infinidat’s platform-centric approach has led to major innovations across its storage portfolio, resulting in optimized, high-performance enterprise storage solutions. The InfiniBox G4 delivers a performance improvement of up to 2x compared to previous models. The InfiniBox SSA G4 all-flash solution offers a scale-up architecture with options for 60%, 80%, and 100% populated models, while the InfiniBox G4 hybrid system remains a fully populated offering. The new all-flash storage solutions include the compact SSA G4 F1400T model, which offers 155 terabytes of usable capacity within a 14RU footprint and is designed for easy installation in existing data center racks or colocation facilities.
