The ScreenPlay DX HD Media Player line is DLNA-certified for easy streaming with compatible devices over a home network. Video format supports include H.264, WMV, and RMVB; the device also has a DivX Plus HD certification, which allows for .MKV video file format playback. The ScreenPlay DX includes 802.11n wireless connectivity out of the box.
There are two versions of the ScreenPlay DX media center; the ScreenPlay TV Link DX, which has no onboard storage; and the DX HD Media Player, which has 1TB or 2TB of space.
Availability
The Iomega ScreenPlay DX HD Media Player is now available worldwide. The 1TB model is $229.99; the 2TB model is $299.99 (only available internationally at this time). The storage-less Link DX HD version is available for $149.99. All products come with a three-year limited warranty (with registration).
