Kingston Digital, the Flash memory affiliate of Kingston Technology, has announced the launch of the DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 Generation 3 USB 3.0 Flash drive. The DataTraveler Ultimate (available in 32GB and 64GB capacities) is redesigned with a slim new case and features fast transfer speeds for moving large data files.

The DataTraveler Ultimate boasts read speeds up to 150MB/s and write speeds up to 70MB/s when using USB 3.0 and 30MB/s read and 20MB/s write when plugged into USB 2.0. As far as design goes, it is made out of a sleek solid metal matte finish case with a convenient retractable design, which protects the USB from damage while carrying it on a key chain, purse, or briefcase.

Kingston Digital has also announced the DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0 USB Flash drive, the world’s largest-capacity USB 3.0 Flash drive as it will be available in a 1TB capacity later in the first quarter. It is currently available in 512GB capacity.
