The SSDNow V200 SSDs are slated to deliver 4KB random write performance of up to 4,000 IOPS, along with transfer rates at 300 MB/s reads and 230MB/s writes for the 256GB model. Specific MSRP and ship dates were not announced. Power consumption has also been listed at a battery-friendly 0.491W idle.

The entry level SSDNow V200 series will be available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB capacities. First-time system builders will be delighted to learn that Kingston will be marketing desktop bundle kits with step-by-step instructions, cloning software and 3.5-inch drive adapters, while notebook-specific bundle kits will include the same cloning software and an external enclosure. Bare OEM versions will ship alongside the retail kits.
