LaCie today its new Enterprise Class line of storage solutions. The products come with a 5-year warranty, enterprise SATA hard drives, hardware RAID with hot-swappable disks, and hardware encryption.
The Enterprise Class product line includes the LaCie d2 Quadra Enterprise Class, 2big Quadra Enterprise Class, and 4big Quadra Enterprise Class. Each product comes with enterprise-grade SATA hard disks with a 7200RPM spindle speeds, 32MB cache, and a 1.2 million MTBF. Other features include 128-bit AES hardware encryption, an aluminum enclosure, and 24k gold-plated contacts. Additionally, each product is backed by a 5-year warranty with a 5-year product swap. The top-end 2big Quadra and 4big Quadra support RAID 0/1/5.
The included LaCie Desktop Manager software supports up to ten users. Customizable backup software is also included (Genie Backup Manager Pro for Windows and Intego Backup Manager Pro for Mac).
