Netgear has announced the addition of three new powerful switches to its portfolio of second-generation ProSAFE 10GbE Smart Managed Switches: the XS748T, which offers 44 copper 10GBASE-T ports and 4 additional dedicated 1GbE/10GbE SFP+ ports for 10G fiber links; the XS716T, which includes 16 copper ports of 10-Gigabit connectivity, 2 of which are shared/combination copper/SFP+ Fiber ports for 10G fiber links; and the XS708T, which comes equipped with 8 copper ports of 10-Gigabit connectivity, 2 of which are shared/combination copper/SFP+ Fiber ports for 10G fiber links. All three switches are designed for small- and medium-sized businesses and other growing organizations, and fit nicely beside the ProSAFE 12-port XS712T and the 28-port XS728T Smart Managed Switch models.

The Netgear portfolio of 10-Gigabit Ethernet Smart Managed Switches provides organizations with cost-effective 10GbE connections to 10GbE-capable servers and NAS systems. Pricing and Availability
The Netgear ProSAFE 10-Gigabit Ethernet Smart Managed XS708T and Switches are now available worldwide through authorized partners and other reseller channels. The XS748T is expected to be available in July. Pricing is set at $1,558 (XS708T), $2,623 (XS716T), and $8,198 (XS748T).
