The miniStack Max is the market’s only four-in-one storage, data access, connectivity solution. Some of its new features include the addition of an optical drive, an integrated SD card reader, and an expanded storage capacity of up to 4TB (7200RPM).

The miniStack Max is design consists of an anodized aluminum body and glossy black top and its footprint is identical to the Mac mini (2010 or later). It also provides Plug and Play ease of use with any Mac or PC system that has USB 3.0, USB 2.0, FireWire 800, FireWire 400, or eSATA. The miniStack Max’s quad-interface versatility and ultra-small form factor delivers cross-platform portability, allowing users to move data between Macintosh and Windows-based computers equipped with a USB, FireWire, or eSATA port.
The new miniStack’s integrated SD (SDXC) card reader makes transferring photos and video simple and helps keep the desktop clean by eliminating the need for an external card reader and another cable. In addition, its three powered USB ports on the back make it a convenient digital hub for connecting external devices. One of the miniStack’s USB ports is a high-powered 2.1 Amp slot which charges devices that require more power, like the iPad.

Pricing has yet to be announced; however, it will be offered in 0GB Kits and complete solutions with capacities ranging from 500GB to 4.0TB by late March.
