Nexenta Extends Its OpenSDS And Releases NexentaStor Community Edition 4.0.3

Today Nexenta announced that their user community is growing in record numbers. The Nexenta User Community is a forum for thousands of IT professionals to discuss that latest software-defined storage solutions (SDS) and gives them the ability to work with new open source releases unavailable anywhere else. Participation in the Community drives Nexenta’s OpenSDS innovation, architectures, solutions, and software and hardware platforms.

The Nexenta User Community is a forum for thousands of IT professionals to discuss that latest software-defined storage solutions (SDS) and gives them the ability to work with new open source releases unavailable anywhere else. Participation in the Community drives Nexenta’s OpenSDS innovation, architectures, solutions, and software and hardware platforms.

According to Nexenta, the community has over 100,000 Nexenta Community Edition solution transactions at no cost, over 46,000 users, and over 10,000 questions and comments. The members and users on comprised of storage professionals that engage in discussion relating to OpenSDS issues and leading practices. Not only is the community a forum for topics of interest (the latest forum is for NexentaStor on OpenStack), the community also provides early-access for upcoming software releases, news, white papers, social content, and a renewed plug-in development program.

The latest software release is for the NexentaStor Community Edition version 4.0.3. The release is available today for community users and the next generation of NexentaStor will be released to the community in the next few months.
