Nutanix has announced a global partnership with SAP, which will allow customers to use Nutanix web-scale infrastructure solutions to run business-critical SAP applications, such as with enterprise resource management, business warehouse, customer relationship management, and more. Announced back in June of this year, the Nutanix Xtreme Computing Platform (XCP) is a hyperconverged infrastructure solution certified for SAP applications and now is supported by the SAP NetWeaver technology platform.

Nutanix XCP's ability to run SAP enterprise applications on high-performance platforms will enable much simpler deployments, management, and scaling of datacenter infrastructure. Nutanix also indicates that their solutions natively integrate server, storage, and virtualization resources all into a simple scale-out appliance. As a result, customers will see a reduction in both the cost and complexity of their legacy hardware architectures.

Nutanix and SAP have also announced that they have entered into a collaborative technical support agreement, which is intended to help provide customers with a more efficient support system and ways to improve their environment. Additionally, this alliance will give customers access to Nutanix's worldwide support experts.
