The collaboration promises to streamline private and hybrid multicloud deployments by combining Dell’s top-tier server and storage solutions with the simplicity and efficiency of Nutanix software. This integration will simplify operations and improve enterprise flexibility.
Integrated Hyperconverged Appliance
As part of the agreement, Dell will offer an integrated turnkey hyperconverged appliance that merges the Nutanix Cloud Platform with Dell servers. This solution will be available in a wide range of PowerEdge server models and configurations, catering to various application requirements.
Recognizing the critical need for flexibility and ecosystem choice, the Nutanix Cloud Platform for Dell PowerFlex will integrate the Nutanix Cloud Platform, powered by the AHV hypervisor, for compute alongside Dell PowerFlex for storage. This integration will allow enterprise customers to independently scale compute and storage, seamlessly extending Dell’s scalable storage capabilities to Nutanix software.
More Collaboration
Nutanix and Dell will also collaborate on engineering, go-to-market strategies, support, and services. This comprehensive collaboration will expand Dell customers’ access to the Nutanix Cloud Platform and be supported by Dell sales teams and partners globally.
Tarkan Maner, Chief Commercial Officer at Nutanix, emphasized that the collaboration with Dell will help enterprises manage a growing number of applications across various environments by providing a unified platform. This partnership will offer joint customers increased flexibility, simplified operations, and enhanced resilience.

The collaboration with Nutanix will combine Dell’s performance and resiliency with the flexibility and ease of use of the Nutanix Cloud Platform.

The joint solutions from Dell and Nutanix are currently under development and will be available for early access to customers later this year.
