OCZ is revealing new consumer and enterprise SSDs at Computex Taipei. New products include the enterprise-grade Deneva series SSDs and the consumer RevoDrive PCI-express based bootable SSD.
The Deneva series SSDs are designed for enterprise use. OCZ showed a demo system running several of the drives in an eight-way RAID configuration.
OCZ also showed its HSDL (High Speed Data Link) interface, designed to improve data throughput and management for SSDs.
OCZ unveiled its RevoDrive for consumers, a bootable PCI-express SSD. Designed for high-performance applications, it is claimed to deliver up to 540MB/s read, 530MB/s write, and 75,000 IOPS.
The new 1.8" Vertex 2 and Onyx SATA II SSDs are designed for consumer use in mobile devices such as netbooks, nettops, notebooks, and tablet PCs. They will be available in a range of capacities and feature TRIM support.
There is no word on pricing or availability.
