Paragon Software Group has announced the 2011 version of its Hard Disk Manager Suite. The software includes partitioning, backup and restore, migration, optimization and defragmentation, hard drive disposal, boot management and system recovery functionality.



Paragon Software Group has announced the 2011 version of its Hard Disk Manager Suite. The software includes partitioning, backup and restore, migration, optimization and defragmentation, hard drive disposal, boot management and system recovery functionality.

New features of the drive include:

  • Disk performance optimization with automatic partition alignment tool during partitioning/copy operations;
  • Easy OS migration to new Solid State Drives (SSD) to speed up system – move any Windows OS since XP from a regular hard disk to a fast SSD even of a smaller capacity, thanks to advanced data exclusion capabilities;
  • Support for the latest HDD standards (Advanced Format Drive, 2TB+ and non-512B sector size drives);
  • USB 3.0 ready;
  • New powerful engine to perform operations even faster and safer;
  • Conversion of basic MBR to basic GPT disks;
  • Support for exFAT (Extended File Allocation Table) file system (backup, restore) developed by Microsoft Corporation particularly for flash storages
